A stunning, honest oak coffer from the 17th century. The front is carved with the initials WM, someone's mark left over 400 years ago.
Made from solid oak throughout. The top is a single wide plank, a sign of early construction. It has developed fine age cracks across the surface, shallow, not structural, and exactly what you'd expect from 17th century oak.
A useful size for a hallway, under a window, or against a wall. Low enough to sit beneath hanging coats, long enough for shoes, blankets, or books.
W 120cm
H 55cm
D 35cm
Structurally sound and stable throughout.
Due to its size, standard delivery is not available for this piece, collection or courier can be arranged after purchase.
